Whether you already have your eyes set on a career in banking, marketing, or management, or you are still exploring what you want to do, the UAF Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) has an option for you. Pursuing a concentration in general management provides a valuable basis for a variety of careers, from starting your own company to working with Fortune 500 Companies.
BBA students can opt for in-person or online classes, depending on what best meets your needs. Study in Fairbanks and take advantage of the incredible outdoor recreation options, the small, friendly community, and an engaged and active faculty and campus community. Study online, and take advantage of reasonable tuition rates, small class sizes, and courses recognized by Quality Matters for their excellence in online education. Or mix-and-match online and in-person classes for greater flexibility.
Both online and in-person students will learn by doing. Every year, BBA students help plan and run the largest event in Fairbanks (Business Leader of the Year). BBA students complete consulting projects for local and national businesses. They manage a stock portfolio worth $1.5 million; participate in the biggest new business idea competition in Alaska; and go on school-sponsored educational trips and career treks to destinations like Anchorage, San Francisco, and New York.
The Bachelor of Business Administration has achieved accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), ensuring the degree meets rigorous standards and delivers a solid management education.
